The lathe is a machine tool, in which, the piece to be machined, is the one that has the movement of rotation in an axis, the cutting movement is carried out by the tool mounted in the turret of the lathe, and in turn, in the transverse carriage, and this on the main carriage, which is the one that makes the advance against the piece that is in motion, thus molding the piece by removing material.
